Guidelines
The Streets and Sanitation Department’s mission is to make the City of Laurens a beautiful and clean place to live. This is for the benefit of all residents and visitors who seek to enjoy the City of Laurens. We ask all City of Laurens residents to join us in our efforts to keep the City of Laurens beautiful.

Household Garbage Pick Up:

All garbage bags must be placed inside the Roll Cart for it to be picked up.

Roll carts must be at the curbside the night before your scheduled pickup day and be pulled back in your yard by 6:00 p.m. the same day.

The following items should not be placed in the roll cart for pick up: dirt, leaves, rocks, construction materials, and hot charcoal.
Non-Household Garbage Pick Up:
Non-Household Items left out for pickup must be placed in separate piles. If they are not separated, they will not be picked up.

Grass clippings & leaves (please do not put in bags)

Limbs (no longer than 6 ft or 6 inches in diameter)

Toilets

Old Furniture
Appliances, Electronics, and
other items needing Pick Up:
The following items needing pick up must have a scheduled
appointment. All Appliances and Electronic devices are picked up
on Fridays by appointment only. Scheduled Pickups are only
available on Fridays during normal pick-up hours.
