Celebrate Juneteenth Weekend in Downtown Laurens on June 12–14, 2026, as the community comes together to honor the past, serve the present, and inspire the future.
The weekend features a talent show, parade, breakfast conference, and a family-friendly festival filled with music, food, vendors, and cultural celebrations.



Friday, June 12th
Join us for the kickoff of this year’s Juneteenth celebrations with a community talent show at The Capitol Theatre in downtown Laurens!

The event will take place from 7:00 to 10:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM.

Tickets are $10 and seating is limited.

The Juneteenth celebration kicks off Saturday morning with our Annual Community Breakfast at 9:00 AM—a wonderful way to enjoy a festive meal with friends, neighbors, and fellow community members as we honor the spirit of freedom and unity. Tickets costs shown below.

At 5:00 PM, we’ll proudly kick off the Spectacular Historical Parade, highlighting significant figures and events from enslavement through freedom to today. Churches and organizations are encouraged to march and represent historical milestones or cultural themes.

6 pm - 10 pm
The celebration continues throughout the day with our Festival on the Square, taking place from 6:00 to 10:00 PM in downtown Laurens. Bring the whole family and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere featuring delicious food vendors, unique retail booths, live performances, a kids zone, and special invited guests.

Juneteenth Commemoration Service & Celebration

This service offers a meaningful opportunity for the community to come together in reflection, honoring the significance of Juneteenth and its lasting impact.
