City Of Laurens - Sanitation

In an attempt to improve our service, please observe the following trash removal regulations:

STREET DEPARTMENT

The following items must be placed on the street in separate piles to be picked up (No Exceptions):

Please do not combine these items. Unless separated, they will not be picked up.

_Grass clippings & leaves (do not put in bags)
_Limbs (no longer than 6 ft. or 6 in. in diameter)
_Household Trash – paper, furniture, etc.
_White Goods (refrigerator, stoves, water heater, etc.) picked-up on Friday only

Construction material must be removed by owner, if prior arrangements have not been made. All contractors must remove all of their material.

Note: The Street Department operates on a weekly schedule to pick up debris and trash. We are sorry that we are unable to respond to individual calls outside our weekly schedule.

SANITATION DEPARTMENT

HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE...

Roll cart must be at the curbside on your normal pick up day by 5:00 a.m. and must be pulled back in your yard by 6:00 p.m. the same day. The following items should not be placed in the roll cart for pick up: dirt, leaves, rocks, construction material or hot charcoal.
