Seasonal Festivals and Events
Little River Spring Festival--Hosted at the Little River Park the Saturday before Easter. Begins at 10am with the Egg Hunt. Along with the Egg Hunt there are an assortment of free craft stations, games and activities for children ages 1-10. We also have a puppet show that is a favorite of everyone in attendance.
Riverfront Freedom Festival--This is the Annual Independence Day celebration. We begin the event with the finals of Laurens Idol and Laurens Junior Idol and that leads into another concert for all ages. The night is capped off with a huge fireworks display. One of the largest attended events in the county, over 3,000 attend this celebration each year. The event is held on July 3 each year.
Boo in the Park--is the largest Halloween Trick or Treating festival in Laurens County. With a yearly average attendance of 3,500+, Boo in the Park is a truly special event. Vendors from around the community set up locations along the walking trail behind the Laurens Amphitheater. At each vendors location Trick or Treaters can visit the booth and get some candy while the parents learn about the business or service that they provide. Its a great way to showcase our Laurens Businesses without breaking the bank. this event is held on October 31st each year.
